A word from the Directors

A magical tale of persistence and fortitude and a lesson in humility … hang on - is that the story, or what we need to put on a Panto?

The Frog Prince is a lesser-known fairytale from the Grimm brothers. It’s not usually staged as a pantomime, but we think it has everything required as a jumping off point for a story of intrigue, enchantment and a fair bit of nonsense. Ally Baker will be working on the script for a show that promises to be darkly magical, glitteringly beautiful and (we hope) downright hilarious.

Directors Jacqui Lewis and Jo Coffey will use all their skills and imagination to create our 12th Christmas show, bringing together Players old and new for another Cumnor village panto.

Auditions will be held in June and rehearsals will start in September. If you want to audition or get involved in some other way, keep an eye on these pages and the Information tab above where we will post details about the production as we progress through the year. Or get in touch using the Contact tab.

And even if you don’t get involved, make sure you come to see the Frog Prince this year- You’ll have a ball!

We are helping to raise funds for four organisations this year: Botley and Cumnor Primary Schools, Matthew Arnold 6th form build and Botley Bridges Children’s Centre.
