Cumnor Players Panto 2025 – The Snow Queen

The Story

This year’s panto, The Snow Queen, is set somewhere in Denmark, and yet, strangely familiar to residents of Cumnor..

The tale tells how the happy lives of Gerda, her friend Kay and her eccentric Grandma are turned upside down by the arrival of the evil Snow Queen. With the aid of a malevolent ice cream seller, she steals away the innocent Kay. A mighty and hilarious quest ensues as Gerda, helped by a miscellany of royalty, their security team, neighborhood robbers and even a uniquely built reindeer, travel to the north to rescue Kay from the Snow Queen’s clutches. Will good triumph over evil? I wonder…

Please come along to cheer on the goodies and boo the baddies and ensure the Happy Ending all good pantos need…
