The Cumnor Players

Cumnor Players Panto 2026 – It will be 20 years since the first Cumnor Players' panto, so it is time for a revival of our first show, "Cinderella". 

Auditions will take place on Sunday 21st June at Cumnor Village Hall between 1000h and 1600h. The closing date to register for auditions is Friday 12th June.

Under 18s: If you are under 18, you must be in Year 5 or above in September 2026 (please state your age in your email). We must also have an email reply from your parent or guardian to confirm that you can audition.


As a pilot, we have changed our audition policy as of Panto 2026 and no longer require auditionees to be a resident of Cumnor Parish and/or have a link to Cumnor School. 

If you would like to audition, please email cumnorpanto@gmail.com to register your interest, before 4pm on 12th June. Please note that we cannot accept late registrations. Audition information will be sent out during week beginning 15th June. 

Before registering to audition, please ensure you are available for rehearsals every Thursday night, from 3rd September through to the performance dates in December. You should also be available for Sunday afternoon rehearsals from 1st November to 6th December inclusive.

The dress rehearsal will take place on Monday 7th December, and the performance dates are Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th December.

We are always looking for new faces, so maybe this is the year to try out?

We are an amateur dramatic group based in Cumnor Village, Oxfordshire. Since 2007 we have produced pantomimes for the village every Christmas, but have been known occasionally to branch out into summer Shakespeare productions and to perform at other local events.
